Adding Staff to your Account
Adding staff to your AccountGroove account ensures your team has the right access to do their work without putting sensitive data or settings at risk. Proper setup helps prevent errors, protects client information, and keeps your operations organized as your team grows.
How to access
- In the side navigation, go to Settings > My Staff > + Add User

Permissions & Roles Overview
If you are not already familiar with how permission settings work, this section helps you understand the level of control you have.
You can fine-tune what each user can do by assigning roles or permission scopes. These determine:
- Which areas of AccountGroove CRM they can access (marketing tools, settings, campaigns, etc.)
- What actions they can perform (view, edit, delete)
Proper role assignment ensures staff only see and manage what is relevant to their responsibilities.
Best Practices
Least Privilege Principle
- Give staff only the permissions they need. Avoid full agency access unless absolutely necessary.
Use Account-Type Users for Limited Access
- Ideal for sales or support assistants who only need access to a single client or function.
Track Changes
- Maintain clear records of who has access and when changes are made. This helps with audits and troubleshooting.
Review Access Periodically
- As roles change, remove unnecessary permissions or deactivate users who no longer need access.
